La nueva temporada de premios empezará dentro de poco, y es por que uno de los certámenes anunció su lista. Se trata de la 75 edición de los Globos de Oro, que presentó sus nominaciones para el año 2018. La información la dejó saber la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood (HFPA), que votan para entregar unos galardones que sirven como predicciones de otras premiaciones, incluyendo la de los Oscar.
Entre los más reconocidos por los Globos de Oro del año entrante, están películas y series que entraron en el Top 10 del American Film Institute de este año. Caso de ‘La forma del agua’ de Guillermo del Toro, con siete nominaciones; o la serie ‘Big Little Lies’ de HBO, que aspira a seis cetros. Otros destacados son ‘Los archivos del Pentágono’, de Steven Spielberg, y ‘Tres anuncios en las afueras’, dirigida por Martin McDonagh, al aparecer seis veces sus nombres en la lista; además de ‘Lady Bird’, protagonizada por Saoirse Ronan, con cuatro.
En televisión resalta el programa ‘Freud’, con cuatro nominaciones; así como ‘The Handdmaid’s Tale’ y ‘Fargo’, que concursan por tres premios cada uno. La ceremonia se realizará el próximo 7 de enero en el hotel Beverly Hilton, de Los Ángeles, y tendrá como maestro de ceremonias al cómico Seth Meyers.
